You did bowl well that game...(very lucky)

8/42 & 40.

Yes, I can't bat. I used to open when I was younger but had a couple of seasons off and found my batting had gone seriously downhill. In contrast, my bowling had become a lot better.

Best score in senior cricket has been 18 not out :)o :D). Didn't return to cricket after my break until I was almost too old for juniors.

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 5

you probably are more consistent then me. i average around 12 as a tailender but still manage to score an average of 1.5 half centuries a season. and we dont play that many games...

averaged 20 the last season and got promoted from 10 to 7, so im happy :D

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 5

Nup, bat in the lower order, usually 9-11. Have something like 24 not outs from 58 innings. :D

I should really be batting 8/9 as I am not that bad.

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 5

Being a keeper bat, my bowling figures represent what Hauritz would be proud of :p 4/16 altho that was bowling leg spin, and if i remember correctly i opened the bowling with leg spin too!

Junior with the bat - 100 not out
senior - 85. (only had a couple of years in the seniors.. so getting there!)

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 5

my favourite innings of all was a 24 n.o. off 138 balls. the top order collapsed to 8/31 off 6 overs and i came in with our no.3 bat (who is know in contention to be picked for queensland after averaging 103 at our level and then 78 at grade... crazy good batsman) and i held down an end, only once actually playing a shot, blocking and leaving the rest. he went on and scored 197 before being stumped and then the no.11 got out second ball. we won the match too!
