Tut Tut. No need to be like that. Yeah I just realised I had faced him a couple of times (albeit 4 or 5 years ago), his name is Alex Keath.

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 6

Well I win because I've faced Ash Nofke.

In fact we are pretty good friends. Talk to him about once a month.

Except nobody but me seems to like him for any international spots.

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 6

Everytime i mention Nofke on this site everyone tells me he is a dud and shouldnt be playing.

Yet he has been the best domestic player two years running (not last year because of injury though).

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 6

Yeah I used to be a big fan of him. But he's not exactly a spring chicken though...

Myself, I'm a Shane Watson man :D

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 6

Yeah he is starting to find his due by date. Perfect fill in on injury bowler since the side is so young anyway.

I am a half and half Watson fan. He is a good player, but I just cannot stand his attitude. If I were the Australian team I would have kicked him out before Symonds.

They are players to like, Andrew Symonds and Matthew Hayden. Probably my two favourite players ever, obviously taking in the time frames of my viewing of cricket.

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 6

From all accounts, everyone tells me that Andrew Symonds is the most insufferable man in Australian sport... A couple of mates actually cheer against him because when they were about 14/15-years-old they asked him for an autograph and he told them to "**** off"

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 6

Yes and no. He has his bad moods.

But he is also one of the nicest blokes if you get him in a good mood. Just like Haydos he was a good old fashioned bloke.

Like the time he but the two little kids on the field for him in the exhibition match a while back. The two Toms they were. Good viewing.

The team love him though. They really, really do. You just couldn't mistake the shock on Clarke's face when he had to go.

Plus the good times they had. Joking around on the field. There is no Symonds or Hayden to start all that now though.

In saying that though, I've heard of him out at nightclubs just carrying on like a porkchop and wondering why everyone doesn't put him on a pedestal, yelling at the bar staff telling them to serve him when he's 5th or 6th in line.

But I could see how he can be easier to like than Clarke, who probably has more in common with his girlfriend than his teammates... Not that he can't play cricket.

I think that Symmo, Clarkey & Lara might have a bit more in common than we all think.

I cannot have anything to do with AFL on NRL Grand Final Day.

Non event. Storm too good. It's the Melbourne weather and lifestyle that makes em so good.

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 6

What makes you think it has anything to do with AFL Boris?

Back to the cricket!

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 6

I really don't know.

Cricket is the only sport in the world anyway.

Oh... and Baseball. And Cycling. And Volleyball. And golf.

Or maybe thats only what I like...

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 6

Yep, I play B Grade, sometimes A Grade when there is an opening.

I play it most after Cricket. It's a good game once you get to know the very fine details.

I normally only play winter season, but this season I have decided to swap cricket for it and play C Grade with all the gumby people to keep things steady for my shoulder. I limit myself to two dives per set. Usually don't get one in because it is C Grade after all.

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 6

Yeah that's one sport I never really got into, well, that and netball...

Re: Last person to post on this thread wins 6

Aww c'mon, don't relate Volleyball to Netball!

Netball doesn't deserve to be rated to something so highly.

Volleyball is quite the masculine sport anyway. You ever seen a spike? I have knocked a person out and broke their nose before. See lots of injuries like that.
