With our spin options being horrible I have David over Mike.

Both should be in the team.

Mike because he has been their and done that. Dave hasn't.

I don't think you can really compare at this point of time TBH.

I wouldn't call Mike an overly handy bowler, okay at times but David clearly is a more handy option as an offie (almost, if not to the point where you could label him a batting all-rounder) than Mike is with his mediums.
But Michael can keep wickets, which he has done a couple of times for Australia before.;)
I would still rate Mike at this stage more, going through a form slump but hey, look at the expectation after his monumental start to his career.
David is just about ready to be a regular in the shorter forms but when, not if, he gets in the test side is another thing.

David hasn't even played a Test and is yet to prove himself at ODI level. Mike by a mile even out of form.

Stupid thread, Michael has already proven himself to me and is good in my books but he needs to step up too because he has had a shit summer, it's just his first bleep in his career as for David, he is a very usefull bowler but also needs to step up on the batting and have nice knocks. He could be very usefull in the Test.
