Good Luck to the new guy in the St Andrews team this weekend. Big hitting all rounder, left arm Medium/quick. Is he the new GAV???

Also the new guys that may get a game in the coming matches.

And if anyone else is looking for a game your are welcome, just might have to get things cleared by F.O.S.

This Gav certainly is by the look of it....

Can't get out on the field at all - too many "life" commitments are killing my availability for two Saturdays in a row. I wish we had more one day games in the A turf, but thats just me being selfish lol.

Good luck to all the teams this round, and it looks as though there should be plenty of banter on here in the next few weeks as some of the forums "heavyweights" battle each other on the field!!

Hirdy, I wouldn't know who RooBoy was if he stood up in my porridge.
I think Rooboy thinks Warren Andrews and Old School are the same person.

i play at East Coburg and am well aware that W Andrews and Old School (B Clendening) are not the same person. C Johnson is a decent bat, but I reckon not the key to the team.

Nice work Rooboy
Chris Johnston is the key to our team - Bats at 4 if he gets going we will make over 250. When Danny Campbell & Mark Hourigan come back into the side next game those two would also be keys to winning and losing.

Kong, there may be a new Gav as such. Woody is a ripping bloke... But there is still life in the old Kong. Was it the old bull, testing the new bull with the short one into the ear last night? ;)

definately, when playing Danny is your big weapon, but Houra has done well over the years too. the golden years of, Jack Knight, Culpin, Kenedy, Cross, Black etc have passed, but you guys are still very strong and on the day hard to beat.

Ok come on who is this. I need to know!!!!!!!

You would have to be best friends with Andrews and Old School to mention them surely!!!!!!!!!
I think the andrews call is a bit premmature but none the less most welcomed. I would say Johnston from the socials would be the most damaging player and most likely to be the match winner for the socials. Hirdy 05 thanks for the support champ

My vote for the key socials key player is Amato throwing down his
hand grenades and holding the middle order together.

Not at all mate, GAV is a legend in many more ways than just cricket.

WE cannot afford to loose him anytime. There might be a mass retirement if he leaves.

But we can ride this wave as long as we can, even if we are old and no good and Gav has to carry us.

Good luck to all this week.

Re: mmvca

West Coburg 126, St Marys 3/48.

And FFNB, you made me smile when i got to the ground this morning.

For those that dont know, FFNB promised me a surprise when we played West Coburg. For the last couple of weeks, he has said that he will put me back on the shelf at bunnings, as im a garden gnome. Well when we got to the ground this morning and lifted the covers, there was not one but two gnomes under the covers! Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to do that.

Please meet meet Bangers and Mash.
