nah dont bat to much because of being in a strong batting side but should get more of an opportunity to bat next season, but i get picked for rep cricket because of my bowlingDidnt watvh the wholw video but looks pretty good been scoring lots of runs?
that is helpful ...... i hav a nets session later on in the week so it will be a workon gor meYou are obviously playing too close line to your body save the cut shots for the wide ones play straight instead
I used to be just like you and for me it was because i was scared of the ball, but then I just realized that when you start to step back you have a higher chance of getting hurt because of your head moving at your momentum going sideways, I try to pick the length of the ball by how high or low the bowlers arm is at release point so I have the advantage of knowing whether its a short of full ball, this should helpi keep wanting to back away from the stumps to play the cut ....... can someone help me ...... how do i stop myself ??

i am not good when it comes to playing off my pads ...... any full length balls on leg or off stump that i try to score on the off side i normally miss and they crash into my pads or stumps .... would the best option be just to play them straight ??I used to be just like you and for me it was because i was scared of the ball, but then I just realized that when you start to step back you have a higher chance of getting hurt because of your head moving at your momentum going sideways, I try to pick the length of the ball by how high or low the bowlers arm is at release point so I have the advantage of knowing whether its a short of full ball, this should help
