OK JB, you have just confirmed that the problem is with the rotator cuff.

Rest means no bowling or throwing in this instance, as there is pain, this may include the weekend :(

You need to mobilise the shoulder to ensure it does not seize up; this means you need to move in all planes of movement to the point of pain. Don't go any further in that plane of movement as soon as it hurts but keep moving.

OK, it's feeling a bit better this afternoon than it did this morning but I still wouldn't bowl on it, so that probably means I'm out for the weekend I guess.

Thanks for the help, I'll keep it moving around and see how it goes.

im still strengthening my rotor cuff, its still quite weak for how i need it and hurts when i stretch it behind my back but i hope it’ll get recovered in a few months
