New WK Gloves

I have finally got my new gloves through to me for the season, has taken a couple of months as they are custom made, and actually had to be remade.

i will post pics if anyone is interested?

They are well worth the wait! "fit like a glove" if you excuse the pun and to my own specs as well!

Re: New WK Gloves

i have a pair of kooka haddin
and theyre terrible they split after 3/4 of a season
id like to see pics
are they expensive to get made?

Re: New WK Gloves

Somewhere in the region of £150 but you'll never have to buy another pair. You may have to get them re-surfaced every few years but in the long run it'll save cash.

Re: New WK Gloves

well they cost £140, the guy who made mine does them privately and not as a business (asfaik). They took about 2 months from start to finish including a complete remake as the oringal pair were to small ! (TOP SERVICE)

i'm playing tonight, so i will take a photo and post it later!

i had mine specced with Octoplus (which i had on my puma's) they are proper sticky, but i will get tehm refaced once a year! i wore my puma fingers out in 3/4 of a season!

Re: New WK Gloves

Did you try Geoff? From memory his are around half the price of Plimmer's. I had a mate who had them, came to about £50 or £60 all in.

If you're after custom wkt keeping pads to go with them let me know.

Re: New WK Gloves

I'm looking at buying new gloves. Been looking at some places in the UK (although I live in Melb, Aus) and getting some UK as I have found the Aus gloves (kooka's and puma's) haven't really been what I wanted. Any thoughts? I've looked at the new Slazenger Elite Pro. I think they are the ones Matt Prior uses. Anyone used them before?
