Four balls later, the umpires offered the Tigers batters the light and they quickly scurried off. Bangladesh 3/13 at stumps, with Vettori having figures of 3/0.

Junaid Suddique might be feeling a little sheepish tonight, charges Vettori first ball and misses which then set off a chain reaction of wickets.

Final day tomorrow, game will probably end in a draw but there's still some entertainment left in this game.

The carnage continued this morning with Bangladesh losing another three quick wickets to slip to 6/44 before the tail rescued the side from what was a pretty embarassing effort. Shakib al Hasan made 49 and Mashrafe Mortaza 48 saving the team from what could have been a very short first innings. The dismissal of Shahadat Hossain for four brought about a declaration from the Yigers as they finished on 9/169.

Daniel Vettori was the start again, taking 5/66. Iain O'Brien cleaned up the lower order with 3/31.

That left NZ with about three hours to bat. It became apparent right from the outset that the Kiwis weren't going to try anything silly and despite losing Jamie How early for eight, the Kiwis were prepared to block everything out and achieve a draw. They reached 1/79 from 31 overs before an agreement was reached inside the last hour between the two captains. Mashrafe Mortaza took the only wicket to fall and was part of an array of nine bowlers who were given the opportunity to roll the arm over.

A draw to finish the series although with more play, it may have been another New Zealand win. Daniel Vettori won Man of the Match for another brilliant performance and he was also named Man of the Series after a stellar effort in the two tests played.

That concludes the tour of Bangladesh for New Zealand, they win the test series 1-0 after winning the one-dayers 2-1. Bangladesh now face an away series against South Africa starting in November while New Zealand will go back to its domestic season before heading to Australia for a test and one-day tour.
