Heidy west an absolute disgrace.. verbally embarrassed the opposition. Bullies in my book. Some very ordinary comments made. Club should have a real hard look at themselves. . The board needs to give them a warning foor such poor behaviour.
 
End of the day HW are a shit club that talk nothing but rubies in the field..

KP don’t think it needs much attention, clearly a poor performance so let’s move on and hope they win this week.

Rosebank getting up over HT a great effort or maybe a poor performance but they (Rosewank) are still a bunch of flogs

Rivergum have to be favourites for the flag?

Why do you hate “Rosewank” so much. Personally I get along fine with them off the field.... sure they go hard on field and I’ve even been targeted a couple times on field but off field they all seem fine to me?

They all seem fine to you because you are from Rosebank lol. Nice try though.
They play hard and fair enough. Not everyone can get along and be best mates.
Will be a good game this week however the temperature looks like it will be 40 plus again ! Looking at another heat off unfortunately. Player safety must come first
Also a huge game west and baseballers. The loser will almost certainly miss the 4 with the run home Rosebank has

Agree Flick. Long weekend ahead call it off early doors imo.
 
Again wrong, I’m not a rosebank person either. I didn’t say you have to be best mates I just don’t see why some of you hate them so much. Definitely should call it off early so everyone can go away or plan their weekends.
 
So I feel The comp is in a lose lose situation this weekend
If they call the game off early and it doesn't reach the forecasted temperature everyone will complain that we should of played
If they don't call it off early and wait until Saturday everyone will complain they don't get a long weekend.

I feel like if you have signed up to play cricket youi shouldn't be complaining about not having a long weekend coz if it was a 25 degree day we wouldn't be having a conversation about long weekends you would be playing cricket.

So what's everyones thoughts on calling the game off early or waiting?

Weather being forecast for 39-40 for sat:sun I thinking it would be common sense to make an early call. That way we could celebrate Vadant Panchami national holiday back home. Bye bye.

We are all wrong, the forecast is 33 now ha ha. A full 2 day game, who would have thought.
 
The comp grading is all over the place I have played Quick reserve and E grade this year there are sides in E grade that are much better than sides in Quick reserve when playing in the seconds is easier than playing in teams thirds or fouths that is not right
 
I play E grade usually, i had to play in our reserve grade what a joke.
If that’s quick shield reserve standard, this comp has got it so wrong it’s not funny.
Big changes need to be made in all facets of the comp, who’s got the balls to make the changes?
It’s obvious the comp board just don’t get it.
 
Some interesting results from the weekend.

NBR steam train on a roll right on time... seems to depart the station this time every season.
Rivergum faulting? or is this their usual end of regular season funny buggers to throw the others off the scent?
HT a sneaky chance for outright after choking last week although just as likely to get reversed.
Solid total from PB at HW ground... not sure HW can chase that down unless captain courageous makes 150+. The PB boys can expect a verbal barrage from the HW boys on the sidelines this Saturday with finals chances on the line.
NS cheque book has finally run dry. Youth policy the right way to go, just need more youth down there.
 
I imagine it’ll be just about as bad as it gets between baseballers and HW. Lalor, socials and KP are irrelevant. Rivergum and rosebank could get interesting if the kookas bowl well next week, although with rosebank having Sampimon coming in at 7 you’d think it’s a strong enough line up to get 140 fairly comfortably. Stranger things have happened though.
 
Seems as though rosebank are hitting their straps again with an easy win over the kooks. Common theme with them over the past few years, they always seem to come good after Christmas
 
Anyone heard why the Radio show got given the old heev ho. My info was that no one would work for zilcho. All of the hosts getting paid for the show. Question is why would the comp waste money on them??
 
Rivergum v HT entered into my cricket as a final score... Did they pull the pin?

If so would likely cost them top spot with all the outrights likely next week and NBR with NS in last round.
