4 Saturdays washed out before Xmas is unfortunate. The brains trust would no doubt like to have the decision to cancel the Rd 3 game again.
There is no chance that there will be a fixture change. The worst that could happen is that games get underway and some get a result and others share the points following rain.
Some clubs will feel hard done by. Camrea starting a long way back on the ladder would have been backing on 2 day game points.

Well there’s no 2 dayers till the final 3 rounds and camrea have Donath, baseballers and keon park that’s a tough draw

Like get their rationale to have shorter formats during the spring carnival but waiting until round 7 for a two day match is ridiculous

I’m no cricket expert or anything but how is this ball still swinging for nearly 40 overs in the test match whilst ours start peeling and no swing after 5 overs?

I understand that clubs were approached during the week about a possible fixture change in Jika Shield. Making this week the 1st week of 2 day game and pushing 1 day game back. Put to vote and Camrea only club to vote for a 2 dayer. No surprise.

Would have been a good idea to modify the fixture but some clubs probably looked at who they are playing and decided better chance for points playing a one day match . Potential change was put to all grades

Competition getting tight in Jika Shield, I think KP the team to beat, doing OI easily despite Mclean’s best efforts. Camrea just dragged over the line by Dawson again. baseballers v Camrea game of the week coming up, is it curtains for the loser?
