Nmca 24/25

Did not get to the ground but spoke to a mate who went. The 6 overs were not bowled 😂. The standard howlers by an umpire not up to it. Stumps pulled early when outright became a non event.
By all accounts the day was played in good spirits with some funny sledges.
Mate said it was good to see some players from both sides get together for a beer.
Looking like a KP v Baseballers GF.
Not what I'm hearing out of that game

Well the info I've received from people at the ground is that camrea once again carried on like a bunch of clowns.
Can anyone else see the common trend?

The common thread l see reading your past threads is that you continue to only see one side of the story when it relates to Camrea. And that’s what cost the association a sh.tload of clubs money and is now on its knees.
I stand by my comments for Day 1 as l saw things unfold. Both clubs appeared to have words to say towards the umpire at different stages. The umpires adviser did a great job getting things sorted.

I'm glad to hear the new umpires adviser did a good job because the old one was putrid.

You better get use to the camrea bias. I'll happily spray them everytime they do something wrong , I'll get plenty of opportunity.

Ok this week we have KP v Ballers playing .I think both sides on their day are great sides and will be an awesome game to watch...Who Wins ??
Have heard KP have a few injured ( McSwain Young, Ollie , McLeish ) ...Should test depth at the parkers if true...

Old Ivanhoe should have no problem chasing down Cobras score. Camrea on the attack all day and will chase an outright. KP in the box seat after a great ton by McSwain and 3 key Baseballers wkts late in the day.

On another note, did anybody catch the Radio Show in the morning?
Flip let go that the DV had emailed all of its clubs to inform them that they had applications from 4 NMCA clubs wanting to join the DV. No club names mentioned.

Flip and his sidekick ended by inviting any of the 4 clubs to come on the show or phone in and discuss why they wanted to leave the NMCA.
So Flip, how about also inviting somebody from each of last years crop who jumped ship to discuss why their clubs left the NMCA? A good starting club would be the ex NMCA Presidents club.
We know this will not happen so maybe Flip will just have to put questions to Carly.

Why would anyone want to hear from last years traitors ? Would enjoy hearing from this years group of 4.
(Keon Park , Camrea , Northern Socials and Old Ivanhoe . ) Hearing that two of those clubs will be rejected on past misadventures ( check NMCA probation list ) . Hearing that Dennis CC on shaky ground with DVCA re not having the designated junior teams. Good on Flip for having a crack . He is a proud NMCA life member .

You cannot be serious? You don’t think there would be a common thread between the 2 groups? I am sure there are many who would love to hear the reasons for leaving.
Also hearing that the DV are only going to take 2 teams. Which teams has not been decided yet.

why do you think Rivergum, Dennis and HT left? Hint: probably the same reason those 4 you have mentioned want to leave

What a shocking day for cricket yesterday. Four is set. Cannot see Camrea or Cobras getting an outright in last game.
Parkers a clear favourite for flag.
Baseballers are a better team than that effort with the bat.
