The association is in a clear state of decline. the inability to attract new clubs whilst simultaneously losing others (particularly from the top 2 shield grades) illustrates that, no matter which side of the fence you sit on. why would an outside club join the NMCA over the DVCA or ECA? Add a directionless board and very poor fixture/match format into the mix and there is your answer. these are some of the reasons as to why clubs have applied for the DVCA.

Yeah, the league is in big trouble, CV need to step in and force their hand, DVCA and NWMCA and the Eastern need to be told to accept these clubs from NMCA and have the clubs decide which league is best for them to join.

If CV were to bother stepping in they should assist the NMCA (and more importantly, its clubs) in getting the NMCA back to competition that people want to play in.
Not lump floundering clubs onto other competitions that don’t want them for a variety of reasons.
No reason CV can’t provide a full time person to the NMCA to assist if it is serious about grass roots cricket.

tough going in the heat and wind today. Parkers have a good chase ahead in preparation for finals. Dawson again was clinical doing it easy. will be very surprised if he is still around the comp next year

No shame in losing to Camrea in a 2 Dayer. All season it has been said that Camrea are a better team in the longer format. They knocked off Ivanhoe & Donath and now in with a fight against KP.
That is stupid saying Parkers are already thinking about next season in DV. Have to be accepted first. No chance KP out in straight sets.

Heard rosebank offered 20k last season but after 900 or so runs will be hard to turn down a lot of money

I'm sure he wouldn't be at Camrea this season if he was offered $20K................ even loyalty to a club wouldn't keep you there for $20K elsewhere
