i know our game has been cancelled, from what i've heard

if some by some chance, baseballers lose, it would be because none of their players performed. it seemed to me that socials only have one fair bowler and thats owens draper.

tomorrows matches have been called off.
just not sure if it becomes a one dayer next week.
no reason why it wouldn't be.

what do you guys think about the heat rule?
should it be changed for the under 17's?
personally. i belive most of us can handle a little bit of heat.
a lot of us play seniors i take it and we can play then. why not in under 17's. we dont even spend a whole day in the sun, just 3 hours compared to 5 hours in seniors.

Junior Teams are encouraged to arrange matches at alternate times but these matches will be regarded as "friendlies"
so im guessing there not playign a one dayer

yeah from socails just annoyed that every one bad mouths our club seniors and juniors

hopefully no game nxt week and all socials would hav 2 do is beat cobras and they hav a good chance considering cobras hav lost there past two matches:)

In fact you're the one who has come on here and started saying it is disgusting other clubs are making finals, and that they are hopeless, seems like your the only one badmouthing other clubs.

i reckon the call off temperature should go up to 40 degrees,
i spose i can see it getting called off if it is over 40 due to health risks etc
but i think that everyone could handle 35-40

y does every 1 think baseballers are so good? just cause they have the best bat in the comp thats 1 bloke half blokes on here talking baseballers up probarly havent even played against there side this year
all i have wanted to say is dont right us off yet if we lose this week then i guess uses were all right but they only have 1 qaulity player and few decent players

get on the senior thread buddy then tell me no one bad mouths our club and the only reason rivergum even has 2s is because of that new rule of 17 year olds being allowed to play but when we asked to have anthony mcgaw play nmca said no because he would dominate hows that fair?

yer i know there a better two day side then one day but they hav only won two matches and they hav had some draws but sum of the draws they didnt bowl so who hav they got that can bowl and can take wickets? but i will agree they are a good as batting side on paper:)

Mate your bringing in irrelevant arguments into the conversation, if you have a problem with people badmouthing Socials on the seniors thread, take it to the seniors thread. This thread is to talk about Junior cricket in the NMCA, not the seniors.

ohk kristo can bowl but how many wickets has he and marsh taken?

not to mention cobras hav only taken 21 wickets for the season and there leading wicket taker has 4 wickets

well. if you go check out their match results, you will find that kristo hasnt bowled that often because if i remember rightly, in all their drawn matches, they batted first.

Does anyone rate this Brodie Burfitt from socials as a bowler or batter? Has 12 wickets at and average of 9.8, strike rate of 19 and an econ of 3.1...and 100 runs in 7 innings, average of 20?

but the thing is u say he is as good as you say he is he wouldnt hav n avrge of 26 and i know he has been good in the past he has been places but this yr he isant a threat to any side with the bowl....:)

When someone hasn't bowled much it's hard to get rhythm going, all he needs is a good couple of matches and he's right up there again.

You can't really expect a spinner to have a great average.

exactly. as soon as he gets into it, he is a hard player to get away.
