Re: North West Cricket Association

Roxy all the way. Regardless of who bats first. Proven we can chase down big targets. Weather will be a huge factor. Battle of attrtion with batsmen -who can withstand the heat the best (Johhny made 100 in the heat last Sunday).

And who fields with more concertration over the 120 overs. Need lots of bowlers to cope with heat (which Roxy has) Hopefully will be a great game. More then confident that Roxy can do the job.

PS - Noodle is not A Russell - but he is a keen viewer of this forum!

YOU HAVE CHASED DOWN 270 ON BP - A 5C COIN BUT DIDNT GET NEAR GP WHEN THEY MADE 390 AGAINST YOU 282 SHORT.
TL MADE LIGHT WORK OF YOU DURING THE YEAR AND WILL DO IT AGAIN.
ROXY ALOT OF BOWLERS HAHAHAHA

Re: North West Cricket Association

The only reason your laughing at my "lots of bowlers" claim is because I dont think you know jack about our bowling attack. Like I've said before, there are no superstar bowlers in our team, but everyone contributes. There is no over-reliance on one bowler and the spread of wickets between our top four strike bowlers is pretty even.

I doubt other teams know much about us (apart from Russell and johnny) We didn't get to the Grand Final by posting huge totals each week during the regular season - so obviously the bowlers have done the job limiting the amount of runs opposition teams have scored (in most cases - games against BP and GP the exception where we got belted) Write us off at your own peril though!! We may just suprise a few people!!

Re: North West Cricket Association

Heard a rumour that might get the tongues wagging Telford and D Harris to Roxburgh Park very close to home for them and we nearly had one of them a couple of years ago

We would if we could but from all reports we will be playing on turf next year.
Which might give the rest of you over rated and unprofessional sides a chance

You will need more than that big fella, Lakes have already picked up new players! Lets just say that your side was 2 to 3 players behind the Lakes this year, and now they have picked up 2 or 3 new players I am guessing that you are now 5 to 6 players behind the Lakes.

People leaving Gladdy, Buckly to improve and Packo will be same old Packo, I am tipping a threepeat to the lakes!!!!
I dare say that no one will say any different!!

gee if gladdy are 5-6 players off the lakes no one else should bother turning up next season bcos i think they have a great list of players. if they had a bowler like thomas they would win it
