We have picked up an opening bowler and a bat from mmvca a turf eshantha daniel also returning after a year off renovating his house.

We look like losing a true blue gladyboy to retirement not P.V for family to spend time with his fast growing family

I heard it was Keats!!!!...I thought he was taking time off to satisfy his addiction to KFC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keats is our pres

No porkies here mate just not keen to blow the deal its happening dont worry about that

All good things come to those who wait.

the only thing that can be achieved by me naming him is his curent club spending the whole off season trying to change his mind.

Fair Enough Gladyboy. As long its not one of our players, which I know its not as ours are all accounted for. I will follow this with interest. Here's some decent opening bowlers in our comp. If its not one of these then I wouldn't be getting to excited.

Darren Harris (St Marys)
Scott Wernham (St Andrews)
Paul Newton (St Andrews)
Callum Appleyard (West Coburg)
Danny Campbell (Socials)
Matt Costello (St Francis)

Definately wont be Harris. He is 100% retiring.

Re: North West Cricket Association

I heard from an extremely reliable source on the weekend that the player in question is the one and only Nathan Fitzpatrick from the Socials. A youngster who has a long way to go before being considered anywhere near a match-winner.
Quite a shock as his family is Socials through and through but you never know these days.

harris 100 % soft

Played against Harris this season in the MMVCA and watched him perform in the Grand Final. Played a fantastic game and almost got St Mary's over the line.
I take it he's had your measure over the years MB24:D

Re: North West Cricket Association

he was my team mate, played with him week in and week out you fool. i know him well enough to label the man soft, has ability but goes missing.

I played with him this season, and he is neither soft nor overated. Im guessing its sour grapes that he left Buckley Park.

Rumour reaches me MMVCA that you have played with him all of your life......living in his shadows????

He is a quality junior talent. Should do well in the NWCA.

Re: North West Cricket Association

good on the young fella, we welcome all talented youth into the comp and im sure he will do well.plenty of good bats in the comp for him to come up against and to play under a coach like markham will learn plenty.

I doubt it as most of them have been at there respective clubs for a number of years.
Will just have to keep searching for that opening bowler, that you are looking for Wiseman. Although did here a whisper that Kyle Adams (West Coburg) may be on the look out for a new club. Very good young bowler, worth looking at.

Is that the left-arm quick they call `The Family' or am I thinking of someone else?
