Now now settle down boys.....one thing i will say is that Hocko was not a gun , he was a good but but no gun, there hasn't been too many gun bats over the last 20 years. Don't crack it hock but I think even you will say you were no gun , the term gun gets around too easily. Westy, claude are 2 that spring to mine who were very good bats out of CCC and you were under them hock. But don't bag hock he is a good bloke , fancy even bringing up who is overrated. Once again someone has to hide behind this site and start trouble about players in our comp. Truth is all are great blokes only a handful are tossers.

Hock is a loyal player to CCC for 20 years so if your still here in 20 years and playing Luscombe "when needed" and you have won your club and Association awards for batting and Fielding even best clubman then you can brag. Posting BS on here mate won't get you too far.

Have to agree the term gun is used to much and also that hock not only played on one leg but last year and the season before when I played against him he had a stuffed back as well.

I always thought cricket was a team game and if you are picked in the Luscombe shield side the idea is to make runs ALL OF THE TIME not just some of the time against CCC. So much for playing for your team. I suppose you keep a running total of every run, wicket,catch and run out your'e involved in as well. Maybe you should have a bit of night time reading I know a great little brochure you can read. It's called in the spirit of cricket. It's all about playing as a team and not an individual and you never know you might just get the idea of what it all means

Try again moron. Have played in the mens comp for years until it became women and men must play seperately.Played longer than youv'e been on this earth as you are only in training pants and using a walker at the moment. Luckily when I did play for Essendon it was with people with alot more class than you.

Well said Its me, not all of us blokes think that the women belong in the canteen,although we do appreciate all the hard work the ladies do at our clubs.
This goose doesn't have a clue. Great statement to make considering there are a few women on here and we're trying to encourage more people to join males and females. Wake up and grow up whipper snapper.
I know of one chick who has played for 30+ years and another for 15 and I bet my life on it if YEAHYEAHWHATEVER was on the receiving end he'd s#$t himself.
