I disagree and labelling someone a cheat is very easy when no one knows your name.

Ray has done a fantastic job at Taylors look where they were before he took the reigns they were comp easy beats based in a school portable now they are the best side in it and are loking a good chance of 3 flags in a row.

I think that you're comment about pulling the club out of the comp was weak as piss mate...get over ya self...the comp would be better off without you anyway...

yeah but the oppostion had 9 players and 2 of them under 35...the scorebook doesnt say tht i was dropped 4 times (3 of them sitters) and it was in the 3rds (no offence to anyone playing tht grade!!)

haha 1 day game mate...and ive been coping flak for it!! we were chasing 154 other opening partner made 7 and ronny jay got 53* (our 97 yr old gun!!) was at the other end telling me he wanted me 2 get it and wasnt going to play shots...while he was teeing off hitting 4 after 4....

thats the thing about these type of forums, in life you say things out of anger and they are only heard by ppl present, on here you put it in print its stares you in the face every time you log on. Wouldnt be the first comment on here that I regret it was an immediate reaction to what I thought was a dodgy situation and the board saw it to be dodgy and ruled that way.

As far as the comp being better off if we leave, I doubt it we cant afford to lose any of our base clubs, since the loss of moonee valley greenvale and tulla this is the first year we have had a half even comp normally we carry 2 or more sides we cant afford to lose any that applies to us and the other 7 luscombe teams.

Lets face it donnybrook and clarkefield arent exactly knocking down the door.

BPCC v PVCCC - This game will be closer than most think. Early wickets are the key for BP. If they can do that they are a good chance. Tip BP

SHCC v RPCC - Boths isdes really need a win and have under performed. I hope for RP sake Russell is playing. They look lost without his leadership and batting skills. Hackney also injured I hear. Tip SHCC

GPCC v CCC - CCC have improved a lot but still only have one win on the board. They have really pushed the top sides but lack that killer instinct still. They will continue to improve and will win a few more games but not this one. GP too strong across the board. Tip GP

KGGCC v TLCC - KGG are on a roll. If they can make a score over 200 they are good enough with the ball to win this game. But I don't see them making enough runs to beat TL. Tip TL

Glady have improved there list and form from last year
Taylors you would say are a lil disapointing but still a great team
Camp certainly have improved there list but still not ladder position
Syd - same
Roxy you would have to say disapointing but i expected them to drop - just not this much
Kealba - slight improvement
Paco same old paco
BP - i am very disapointed , expected more wins and needed a win vs Camp last week when washed out

I dont want to do a mtch review I just want to comment that everyone who has done one has said the Gladdy vs CCC will be closer than most people think therfore I think the majority think it will b close not the other way around.

I will go out on a limb and tip Gladdy to smash them.

Gladdy: Have improved. Look more even with some younger bowlers who are able to bowl 20 overs. Still lack a spin bowler to be complete package. Bats just keep scoring runs. J. Markham best bat in the comp.

Taylors: For me still the side to beat. Almost the same team as last year without one key player - Macaffrey. Was a very handy bat down the order. Heavy reliance on Thomas with the ball.

Pascoe: Still a good team but can't seem to find a settled 11 with 2 or 3 changes every week. Too Good to miss out but not in the same class as Gladdy or Taylors. P. Tripp is a gun.

Kealba: Will be fighting out for that 4th spot in the finals. Amoung the best bowling attacks in the comp but very brittle with the bat. Need more runs from Viani and someone else.

Syd: Poor and inconsistant start to the season. Same team as last year in every way. Rely on too few - Wilson and Hackney for runs, Hassett and Lorimar of wickets. Beniwel need to lift and start getting past 25 for them to play finals.

Roxy: Most people on this forum predicted Roxy would crash this year. The season is not finished yet but can't afford a bad game. Like SHCC rely on Russell for leadership and a lot of runs and Killa for runs and wickets. Others need to step up if they are to paly finals this year.

Buckers: Don't know what to say about BPCC. On paper they seem to have a good batting line up but it is under performing. Bowling is a weakness for them. With the exception of Hayes not a lot of quality. Hope they can put in a big second half of the season for Millsy.

C/Field: Have improved but lack the killer instinct. Weekend results show that. Had Gladdy on the ropes and let it slip away. Will win a few games and may well shape the 4. Hassan and Carton good pick ups but need some help.

I was down at the U/21's yesterday and was speaking to some people from Roxy and I hear that all is not well down there!! Lots of infighting and some of their top players very unhappy and maybe looking to leave?!?!?! Can anyone shed anymore light on the situation?
