Re: North West Cricket Association

We at Glady always knew he was going to do it just a matter of time.

Today big Heath Shephard after copping one and breaking his nose went on to break the luscombe record previously held by P Viani to make 229 not out absolutely chanceless and the greatest innings I have seen and knowing Heath when he hits form next weeks one day final will be one to remeber.

Re: North West Cricket Association

BIG ROUND THIS ONE ....
can pacoe hold out campbellfield
and play gladdy the following week in the one day final???... alot of pressure on the boys at pacoe with taylors lakes waiting for that slip up to see them sneak in after the last round of one day matches!!!!

Very good player,
i go to school with him.

played broadmeadows hatch last year and was very good, took 3 wickets in the final but they couldn't get over the line against Ormond (who i incidently play for)

but has scored runs and taken wickets in 2's at broadmeadows and is an academy of some sort, goodplayer

Yeh, I go to school with him as well ...
Kinno maate, i know its you now.
WINNA!

Re: North West Cricket Association

Young Gun....I like ya comment, but I don’t think paco will be thing a one-day final going into this game, obviously if they win they'll make it into a final, but they'll be looking to keep TL under them come March!!

Round 11

CCC v PVCC = CCC seemed to be a bowler or two short last week, and there batsman apart from one didn’t get going. If Berry, Ingvorsen and Carton can get amongst them im sure it will be a good contest. The Tripps especially Paul love playing against PVCC, so he's the prize wicket with Sayers, Gick and Hare to get amongst them....My Tip = PVCC

GP v BP = Convincing win by GP in there last match, with the batsman required getting the runs and the bowlers (Moore and Fitzpatrick) doing a very steady job. For mine and I don’t know why, but I cant help but look at BP batting line and just expect them to be 1 match away from at least a convincing batting performance. .....My Tip = GP

RP v KGG = No Catania or Rogo for KGG (last week), and when ya best 2 respected players are unavailable it makes for a tough assignment. If both are back this week, KGG should win. I have a new found respect for RP and there efforts over the last 2 games with 2 wins and just sitting out of the top 4. If Killa and the English boys can keep the train rolling than expect them to give a great effort until the end of the year. 2 day games for these teams worry's me, Can RP take 10 wickets and can KGG bat 80 overs (against the top sides)??....My Tip = KGG

TL v SH (Sunday) = No surprises than they won last week (TL) with a great effort from Harrison with 4 wickets. TL has now a well balanced side with 3-4 good-strike bowlers and some very handy part-timers, also a strong batting line up!! SH must win or finals get tough, this time last year a very convincing win over TL. If SH bring there 'A Game', then you can’t ignore there chances at victory. Wilson and Hackney to make a few to keep finals alive!!!.....MY Tip = SH (tipping an upset)

Happy Hitting

Could somebody please liven up the forum....what happend to the juciy goss or the sledging that we were once privy too?

Surely it is that time of the year when teams start thinking ahead and start testing the waters of possible recruits for the 09/10 season.

Has anybody heard of anyone who is unhappy where they are and looking for a new club or even if clubs have approached anyone.

Gladdyboy seems to know a bit and V/line seems to know every team fairly well, you blokes must have something!

I seriosly dont have much........I know A Russesl is a chance to end up at a Luscombe team......and Killa was very close to leaving RP when the fall out happened, so you would think unless things happen dont expect Killa to be a Roxy boy for season 09/10.

As far as i am aware most clubs and teams are happy(but who really knows??), every1 will understand that once your in a culture that your like/enjoy, winning or lossing dosent matter as long as your enjoying your cricket, no matter the level of cricket.
