Decent looking squad. Batting looks a tad light maybe.

Lmao ofc with lyon already mastered the carrom ball it's going to be interesting.
 
Once again the one day team has demonstrated their inability to cope with spin. How they left Smith out of the team is bemusing. Hughes batted like a club player looking for his favourite cow corner shot. Need Warner and Watson back in that line up.
 
Maxwell needs to go as well in my opinion. Seems to have one mode of operation as a batsman which is whack everything for six no matter what situation the team is in. Mitch Marsh clearly a better all-rounder.

Recent Australian teams at all levels have struggled with spin. I didn't miss that PUP is sulking again and the coach has had to give him a kick up the A***. Thought he might have matured a bit but clearly still the same weak leader.

Yeah, Smith made such a difference, didn't he? Might as well kept Marsh up the order for the series.

Mitch offers way more with the ball and with the bat. Maxwell is a very one-dimensional player at the moment in that he has to smash everything for six. He's also out of form and got a golden duck last night.

Personally the team has too many all-rounders at the present time. No wonder the side has struggled with the bat at times during the series.

Yeah, even the kiwi keeper is way better ;)

I guess it shouldn't matter as Haddin will replace him for the WC anyway, and blokes like Whiteman that should be a long term prospect to replace him in Tests can continue to ply their trade in the Shield.
