Yea its really true, everyone accuses the Yankees of just going out and buying players, but the Red Sox kind of do the same thing.

i have a soft spot for the Red Sox, because my mom is from Springfield, MA and loves the Red Sox (though my dad has successfully turned her into a White Sox fan after almost 33 years of marriage and living in Chicago). I think any team over 100 million in payroll right now is treading in Yankee territory (including the White Sox!) but then I look at the list and see the Yankees are almost at 200 million. which is a boat load of money!
