That time of the season is here again. Finals are upon us and the Madrid Magic and the Western Wizards face off in the Preliminary Final to see who will face Kingston Cheetahs in the Grand Final and a chance at premiership glory. Madrid lost top spot in the final round of the season after being in position one for most of the year so they will be keen to make amends and strike back at the Cheetahs who actually defeated them in Round 12.
Western Wizards held onto third place despite losing to the Nairobi Nuggets in the final round. The Wizards only managed four wins for the season but that was enough for them to claim third due to a better Net Run Rate than the Nuggets side. The boys from Western Wizards Oval may not have had a good season but they are still a big chance to win here after providing some good competition during the season with the Wizards claiming some scalps along the way.
Expect a good match-up here. A lot will come down to the batting line-ups who have tended to stumble at times during the year.
