heh, good stuff. In any case, just chalk it up to first-game jitters. This is the big leagues, you know!

Well, that was crap. Had a good start but the middle order bar imported_mike had very little impact on the game. Blue Red and Gold batted well for us again.
Quite a way short of what we needed to get on the board. We needed about 250 and we weren't going to get that at 8/160-odd. At least we were able to bat out the overs.
Bowling was okay under the circumstances but we lacked penetration. Had a good stint to start with but we were unable to maintain the pressure required and a few bad overs took the pressure off the Lions and they ended up getting victory a bit too easily.
We can match it with these guys, we just have to apply ourselves more to and we can go all the way.
