Re: Pakistan vs West Indies ODI Series at Abu Dhabi
Pakistan have gradually increased the run-rate as the game has gone on. They're 2/165 after 37 overs. Younis Khan has played well for his 95 not out and Misbah-ul-Haq is up to 33.
Chris Gayle and Powell are the only wicket-takers. Powell and Taylor did a good job containing Pakistan early on but Miller and Baker have been a little expensive since then.
Re: Pakistan vs West Indies ODI Series at Abu Dhabi
Another good game with the Windies falling short yet again. Chris Gayle top scored with another fine century, making 122. Ramnaresh Sarwan scored 62 and it was all going well for the West Indies side as Gayle and Sarwan put on 151 in 27.1 overs. However, the dismissal of Sarwan saw a chain reaction follow with none of the other batters able to hang around with Gayle who's innings included 5 fours and 6 sixes. They were eventually bowled out for 242 in the 47th over.
Rao Iftikhar Anjum did the best with the ball and despite being expensive took 4/59 from nine overs. Umar snared 3/31 from eight overs whilst Sohail Tanvir did his job again with another two wickets.
A 31-run win to Pakistan and they win the series 3-0. It was a very entertaining one with two evenly matched sides taking each other on. West Indies would consider themselves pretty unlucky, they had their chances in this series but couldn't capatalise.
Younis Khan won Man of the Match for his century and also a catch whilst Chris Gayle was Man of the Series for two outstanding centuries.
