Doesn't surprise me in the slightest, I learnt so much from him as a cricketer and person in the time he was at Eltham. And even though we are both at different clubs now, he's the first to offer up sound advice to me to assist me in a coaching capacity etc. Ripping bloke, who lives and breathes cricket and is willing to do anything and everything for anyone who asks.

Don't listen to them Brutal,get out there and pay out on everyone that deserves it and then anyone who doesn't. Like you honestly.

That's your opinion and your entitled to it. I think it's important for people to know exactly what occurred and be informed. A lot of stuff gets said on these forums Tongs which are second and third hand in their origin. I'm just stating events as they occurred and if you or anyone else thinks that is belittling towards some individuals, then that's ok but I'm a club first person. Blokes like Gibbsy and Skips are respected because they always put the organisations they represent first. Unfortunately in our situation, we were put last and everyone involved knows that and wishes things were done different. On a far more positive front, as a club we are united and in a strong position off field with everyone committed to driving change. We have appointed a coach, have all players on board with the opportunity to add one or two others. Let's move forward and talk about something else.

He just broke into the 1's would be a bizarre move. Besides they don't need another bowler, unless he can bat..

To be perfectly honest, like most rumours about local cricket, I heard this at the local the other night. Reputable source? Definitely, but not sure if he was just stirring the pot. Cited GT's recent injuries as the main reason and that he has lost a bit of passion.
