MGS all out 223 (Harrod 62, Morris 50) defeated Mentone 8-155 (voyage 3-11 off 10)

a severely understrength MGS team were too good for mentone, fiskem.

scotch played a hawthorn/monash uni development side that wasn't strong by any means. Scotch bowled first, restricting HM to 9/167 (whittle 2/13 (5), muttdon 2/29 (9)). Scotch finished up at 3/221 (Jamieson 52 (ret), McMahon 37 (ret), G. VDB 30 (ret)) Scotch batted well and showed some good signs with the ball. Good signs considering Eldridge and O'beirne didnt bat and collins was absent through dramatic commitments

yeah the wicket was playing up a bit also the auslanken team had a vicious bowling line up and the batters were shit
