Division 2

After a dreadful season due to flooding, Worcestershire end up as Champions, which will no doubt please the faithful at New Road. Essex are relegated - the first time that the previous years champions have ended up in this predicament. Warwickshire will be joining them in Division 2 next year.

Elsewhere, Durham pipped Somerset to the Division 2 title although both go up. Middlesex, in finishing 3rd, have the the prize of a play off against Northamptonshire. Winner will be in the top flight next year.

Not a bad season for Hants. Terrible weather I have read all season. Musta been a real ************ all season.

Having seen Kent lose with the final ball twice, I'm gutted we didn't gain promotion. Oh well, there's always next season
