I feel that the world is slowly dying and we are fighting against it. There's too many 'natural' disasters. We have coastal erosion here, a fair bit of our land just slides down onto the beaches below. Reckon in years to come Britain will be much smaller than what it is today.
This is happening in Australia too and we have just a smidgin more coastline than the UK. People are building less and less near the ocean for spectacular water views due to this problem. The video below shows clearly precisely what you are saying Jess. This looks like the American coast and some of these are multi million dollar homes..
