Looks like we have no choice but to put some non-posters into the teams that are short a few players.

We will have to use these players until new players show some interest. I will organize another draft so these players can be picked. All players that were delisted will be put into this "pre-season draft" and the captains from the Figjams, Crusaders and Magpies will take their picks from there. The Lions are exempt from the draft as they have a full list, however, they still do not have a wicketkeeper.

Another update of the squads lists for season five. Crusaders now have eleven players so they will be able to take the field.

I will start a thread in order to draft the non-posting players so they can be used as "fillers" until new players arrive on the scene.

Urgh.

Panda Drive has alerted me (after the draft thank you very much !!) that he no longer wishes to be part of this forum, as he is too busy with his own. I guess that throws our bowling out of whack.

Alright guys, after much studying, little sleep, and far too many beers....I'm back! Great job getting the draft and squads done while I was away!

So I will get to work on fixtures ASAP, and then we can get going with matches. A couple of thoughts to consider:
  1. Do we want/need a pre-season competition? What form do we think it should take?
  2. Are we happy with the current 12 round OD and 6 round FC season?
  3. I may at some points in the season need help with administrative things, hopefully some of you can volunteer to help out?

S'alright? S'alright. I'm excited for all the new posters!!!

Yup !! I'll help out with the admin stuff if needed, I was thinking maybe we could draw the games closer together ? And the finals stagnated a bit IMO. Other than that it was all good (And i think Pre-Season Comp's are awesome !!)

Welcome back Wilbix. The squads are all done. We just need to do the fixtures and that's about it.

I would be happy to help out with any administrative work if you need it at some point.

I think a pre-season comp would be okay. If people aren't keen on having a full-blown competition, then each side could have a few practice games. Having said that, a pre-season comp would be good as we have been waiting a while for this to start.

Current format is okay. I wouldn't mind it being a bit longer but that's just my opinion.

Just finished putting them together, just have to type them up on here now, I'll start that straight away. I tried to condense the schedule a bit more by getting away from the two OD/1 FC match pattern. I'm pleased with how it turned out, hopefully you all are too! Still going with 12 OD/6 FC for the season, with the TwentyFive25 in the middle, and the last day (day 5 of the FC Final) will be 3 September (Labour Day in Canada, anything special for you Aussies?).
