:laugh: Typical lecturer! I can imagine though that it's frustrating when you get 40 reports with suspiciously similar content. ::)

Anyway, we've got our first game next Saturday - can't wait!! We've got a mat, so we'll almost certainly get a game in unless it's spilling rain and the outfield is unsafe. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to practice on the wicket so methinks there will be a lot of people bowled on the back foot due to the ball not getting up when it's short - might be a tactic if I'm bowling :)

The hardest conditions to bowl in are when there's a rainy gale one way that gusts and a ball with an obvious shiny side. You bowl it to swing into the wind and it either gets blown down the legside by the gusts or swings miles to the offiside. Then you try cross-seam and the seam's too soggy to hold!! I was bowling like this a couple of years ago in a 10ten comp and got hit for 28 off 2 overs!!

First game wednesday - can't wait!!
