Quite extraordinary if true. A club to not want to play in the big league of Senior Division...are they the next Chelsea ?? Want to win flags in South but no interest in testing themselves against the better teams?
In that case welcome to senior div, hopefully we draw u away cause i also hear its one of the better grounds going around..Certainly not true. Club is more than happy to go up as we have earned the right. We are not Chelsea. You can put your theories to rest and move on.
Any news around the traps in Senior Division?
Were Yarraville dissapointed in missing out on Phil Hughes, with the former Aus opener electing to accept a slightly inferior financial offer to play for South Australia. I'm assuming it's still, in Contessa, out Ion, Cullen and Oosterhof?
A quick summary from around the different boards - Keilor have obviously picked up Hutchison + Mato, hopefully they can be more competitive than their last year in Senior. Also coming up is Old Mentonians. McKinnon have their Sri Lankan from the Geelong comp. South Caulfield have a new coach (know much about him, Sledge?). Airport West have lost another player to Hoppers (Asif Jan) whilst Taylor is off to North A or B to fill his boots. Beauy have signed Chris Hall as coach, any news from Spotty, St Bernards or Greenvale ?
Great to see Porter back in the VT, one of the best bats we've seen. Not sure about all of Keilor's points, obviously a couple not resuming? Law (8), Schupan (5), Hussain (5), Cook (5), Lee (4), Sheahan (3) - add in Mato, Hutchinson & Porter on big points. Keilor aren't exactly known for playing their juniors, so there must be a couple not coming back.
Yeh that's true, we have replaced him with Stacy Brown and apart from that will just keep on bringing players up thru our junior ranks..Forgot that I had heard Dale has left McKinnon and headed to Port Melbourne. Exactly what Port Need to take the next step...
