Re: Shoulder still screwed?

I can't zoom in but it looks like you have been grappled [as in a rugby tackle/maul/scrum]. Have you been tussling with your sister; girls can be so rough :) However, if this was the case, I would have thought there would be some fading. Have the docs seen these marks?

Re: Shoulder still screwed?

no the docs havent, i did used to play rugby in PE back at my old school so that what it might have been. and belive me if i was tussling with my sister i'd be lucky to still have my arms lol.

Re: Shoulder still screwed?

If these get worse, as in more prominent, darker, multiply or hurt, you should get them seen to. There are many causes for this sort of mark and they usually fade or go eventually. :)

What is the position with the x-ray/scan?

Re: Shoulder still screwed?

x-ray... im going in on thursday to see the results.

Ohh i really need help making a new workout routine, ive really drifted away due to college and not being able to fully commit myself 100%(mainly cause im being lazy). my body looks in good shape but i dont feel as strong as i did when i was getting a good 2 hour workout a day, with runs etc.

I've learnt alot about how to workout and i really want to develop a new workout that can get me freakishly strong (but i dont wanna look like a bodybuilder)and fit for the upcomming season so that i can be taking those insane catches and running in 100mph and smashing the stumps easliy i would also love to have better diciplinefrom having a good workout so that i dont just drop the workout after a month like a usually do and commit myself to other things like revision which i never do lol.

Re: Shoulder still screwed?

X-ray's fine having an MRI soon, and the amrks on my shoulder im pretty sure are strech marks, i have started getting them under my armpit and on my biceps. so im gonna stop working my upper body out and focus on core and lowerbody, i read a little about the cause of stretch marks , and some treatments, and i may buy some cocoa butter or vit e oil.

Re: Shoulder still screwed?

They certainly look like stretch marks storm but I would not expect you to get them. Please do ask about them when you get your scan.

If they are stretch marks, bio oil would be better. You can get it from Boots [and other pharmacists :)].

Don't stop working the upper body, just take it a little easier. Work for endurance rather than hypertrophy for a while.

Re: Shoulder still screwed?

just noticed that my shoulder does a click or pop when i do a marine press up.

Re: Shoulder still screwed?

yh will do im watting for my doctor the phone me....I went to my first trianning with the new club, sadly first ball i pulled something in my back, hopefully it was just a one off and my actions not gone to crap over the winter.
Bowlings pretty rapid now tho, i can sprint quicker than ever and my feildings qaulity.
I got some good feedback from them aswell, a few asked if i had been scouted yet which is always a good sign.

Re: Shoulder still screwed?

fiannly went for the MRI last firday, shoulder feels really weird these days, i need to work it out so it feels nice, quite weird, altough i dont get pain when i throw at all, a lil bit of pace has come back... fitness has started drifting though im not really commited nemore, making my county isn't really an option now so im starting to just do other things for fun like skating and swimming and golf.

Re: Shoulder still screwed?

I wanna learn to some gymnastics like a backflip and a perfect hadnsatand etc... anyone have any good tips?

Also i wanna do some planche push ups because they look really cool, are they good or bad for you?

Re: Shoulder still screwed?

Storm... I really don't know what to say... or where to start.
I suppose, basically, if you think you are ready... then you are ready :) As you know, I have every faith in your ability.

However [there is always an 'however' or a 'but'], you must be sure you can control your breathing before you attempt any planche training. I would also not be tempted to try this on your own; you really need somebody to spot you to make sure you are keeping your body straight and not moving any muscle that you are not supposed to be moving.

How are you with posterior press ups?
Have you tried planche planks? If so, how long can you sustain good form?

Re: Shoulder still screwed?

ummm, im not sure which ones the posterior press ups are, as for the planche i haven't tried, i've been swimming all day so atm i dont have the strength to lift myself.
