That is a bit stiff.
Apart from Davis no1 has been doing n e thing in the 2's so is it a straight swap?
Out Brown In Davis?
Because i hear the Jensen is out this week so therefore their would need to be 2 changes.

3 young fellar's ay. Money on Gallivan, shows good signs. Craigie has just been going in the 2's and Doyle batted 9 in the 2's last week how would he go up as a batsmen batting at 9 in the 2's?

D.Davis is not an opening bat so im struggling to see how it is that you would be dropped for him.

Re: subbies season 07/08

Preview time for this week's round of matches in East/West.
Willy v Oakleigh-could be the grand final preview, could hinge on selection,if Willy have a few out as Weapons is suggesting then the visitors might inflict the reigning champ's first loss,I'll stick with the home side though in a beauty.
Melton v Bayswater-even at McPherson Park I'm tipping Bayswater to continue the home side's slide down the ladder
Croydon v Box Hill-the visitors far too good for the inexperienced Cockies, too much strength particularly in the batting department.
Noble Park v Altona-looks like another West Group victory, the Parkers have been very disappointing thus far and the A's are looking like they mean business with their gun leggie Boglis dominating.
Sunshine v Broady-can't remember when a side got two consecutive outrights in this comp so on form the Falcons should take care of the Crows, just got a feeling this might be a shock result, gonna tip Sunshine, don't ask me why.
Werribee v Endeavour Hills-the Bees will be out to redeem themselves against a side who can make a lot of runs on occasions, should go down to the wire, maybe the visitors in a cliffhanger.
Might have a look at Sunday's fixtures later.
Bucket Head, care to comment on North/South?

Re: subbies season 07/08

Oops!Mounties v Yarra-both rely on their batting,MW can be bit iffy if Bartlett/Ferguson miss out,i'll go for whoever wins toss and bats 1st.

yer interesting 1 piston........bartlett to score 200 plus........

i dunno if its true but suposedly no more home games at yarra......herd any thing???

Re: subbies season 07/08

Yep Weapons,I thought they were digging Yarra's ground up before Xmas sometime, can't be much wrong with their wicket though,330 and 250 made on it last week?
quick look at Sunday, try not to miss anything this time,
Oaks vWerribee-home side should be too good.
Willy vS'shine-top v bottom, one dayers can produce funny results but not this time
Melton v Noble-maybe Melton will fire up,overdue.
Yarra v Croydon-could depend on where this one's played,if at Yarra they'll win.
Bayswater v MW-very consistent home side will get the money.
Box Hill v EH-could be a run fest,Hillmen probably too good.
Altona vBroady-A's should get the points.
These reserve games can throw up some surprises in the midle of 2 dayers,so expect the unexpected.
time to hit the fart sack.

They are replacing the outfield. Putting down drought resistant grass similiar to what they have done at Whitten Oval.
