i am no gun but i do have a crack.....

as we wernt the best side over the year im not doubting that but all things fell into place at the right time........what did you think of our side was the question....????

stop selling yourself short weapons, i mean you did have a mighty fine year with the bat didnt you?? how many 1st 11 runs was it??? 165 or something?? lol 'goose' oh.. and i forgot to mention that hard fought 45no in the 2's early on in the season!! you do not have a crack, alwasy go the soft option and try and slog when the going gets tuff..

yer 400+ for the year firstS and seconds which i recon is a good year personaly.....no 45no early in the seconds dunno where u get your info from techno its not hard to find on the website.......goose....

no slogging here champ.......all along the ground......limit the shots in the air less chance youv'e got of getting out.......you should know that........how about when the going got tough your team failed....again....hahahahaha...

Hey weapons, there is a new coach in our comp (mmvca) this season, Bob Kunesevic, apparently he played at Willi last year. Got any info on him. Cheers:)

yes bob has played at willy and has asked me to go with him as we have played jnrs and now snrs together but what happened last year with us winning the flag and me being so involved with the club i couldnt.......and wouldnt.....

what do you want to know about him........

i spoke to him a couple of weeks ago and he is keen to get the young blokes of the club a real crack at playing in the snrs which for the future of the club would be good........and the commitee is right behind him on this 1.........

right hand bat.....can bat any where from open to 6......once in and set can hit boundries.....slow between the wickets(running)....loves it short......loves to hit through the covers.....i wouldnt think he'd bowl but who knows he rates himself as a bowler.......loves a froffy......and a good bloke all round.....good catch but once again a little slow around the ground.....slip,gully are his fielding possies in my opinion........

once again you have managed to put the focus on you. from 1 simple question asked not about you, you clearly wrote the first paragraph all about you and how he wanted you to go with him>> you wonder why peopler get stuck into you mokinbird. gulbis would have been very handy for use this year weapons, just got feedback he smashed 75 off 50 in a carlton intraclub... too bad you were talking shyte all along big boy!!!

he asked a question and i answered it nothing to do with you.....

gulbis....hasnt been at willy and you believed me that he was at the start so who is the mockinbird..........the other 4 players we have picked up will be MORE than handy in the firsts........so let the season begin.........

you toss, i never believed you because all it took was a bit of common knowledge when you said you went and watched him play footy and he was actually in england at the time. now its 4 players is it?? ha, last week you said 3... doesnt matter how good your side is this year the bottom line is you are and always will be no good as a batter, i predict you to have a 137run year..

Overheard a rumour at training that there may be a surprise appearance from a big name Willi player in a local Willi comp club practice game . Will report back later if this is fact later on.

wouldnt suprise me as that player has played there before.......there might be 2 of their big name players playing in the same game........lol;)

hey coward.......

now the season is nearly upon us you being from the west group which teams do you think will challenge for the finals....???who will be the improvers...???

here are mine......willy obviosly......melton.....werribee.....
improvers....sunshine.....broadmedows.....
now it doesnt matter how many i get its how the team goes...and if the team goes good ill be happy no matter where i play....if i go no good ill be in the two's simple as that.......and i don't worry about what a coward says........

another thing how are the grounds looking????

willy isnt the best going around we all know that.......but the bloody curator has put 3 new strips of grass down last week and due to willy playing late into the finals in the vfl the square is terrible......will get 1 wicket for sure up but the rest of the square is mud........the new strips wont be in use till after chrissy possibly longer.......the ground is hard so look out when/if you play at willy.......

sunshine improvers?? give me a spell weapons, you have mentioned all the west teams except altona as going to have a good year or improvers... this group stitched all of us up last time we played them weapons so get fair dinkum my fine feathered friend. the only improvers i can see from last year is werribee but depends on how many of there kids have stayed.

why do you bring up altona ????i cant see them going anywhere with their bowling attack.......the young leggie i herd he is training and playing at footscray.......good on him.....

if you read properly which i dont think you did..........as we are from the west i only nominated west teams cause thats where we are from..........noble park,oakleigh,mt waverly and box hill are the east groups best teams.....

last time the only teams to stich us up were box hill we won on first innings but lost out right on a stinker and oakleigh with vimpany were hard to beat......we have box hills measure now........

Weapon won the the comp flag last season didn't he? Not to mention the North/west flag too? That's what cricket is about winning isn't it? Or you one of those blokes who plays for the bat and not the hat?
