this beshara bloke is my early candidate for the hatch medal........what are his stats please M.M?

He must be able to play a bit, he obviously must be able to bowl but he bats down the order so im not sure what his batting is like.

Does anyone from his division or club know anything about him.

VSDCA Website says

5 inn, 321 runs at 64.20, hs 112, 1x100, 2x50
125.3 overs, 23 wickets at 11.39, bb 7/39, 3wi

Re: subbies season 07/08

Just a quick look back at the weekends finish to rd 6 mtches,
most went as expected except for maybe Willy v Oakleigh where the Oaks collapsed for 103,C.Smith 8 for not many.Anything wrong with pitch Weapons or just poor batting/top bowling?
Melton easily over Bayswater
Box Hill likewise against Croydon
NP slaughtered Altona without Boglis injured
End Hills too many for the Bees
Broady with a huge rearguard action over Sunshine
Mt Wav just against Yarra.
Player of the round honours East/West,take your pick,Smith,Turner,Edmunds,O'meara.
What odds on offer now for a Willy v Malvern championship,I know theres a long way to go but they both look outstanding so far.

Bayswater are sitting bottom of the ladder in the 2s i must add but they are looking on the improve taking melton all the way this week.
We are sitting 2nd after Altona's outright win against Noble Park took them to top of the table.
We cannot afford an upset this week at home, big game before xmas.
Bubba you would have to admit that this game against Box Hill is a must win for you blokes.
9th vs 5th these are the games you are going to have to win to make the 4.

yes massive game for us against box hill its a must win to keep us in the hunt... yeah bayswater played well on saturday was a good game an happy to get the points a couple of weeks of a bit of travel happy to be at home its a long way out there!@|

Re: subbies season 07/08

At Willy, it was good bowling combined with average batting, two-paced pitch and interesting umpiring (2 of the 4 LBWs were contentious, the other two plumb)

Re: subbies season 07/08

Even though is only tuesday i am going to look at the round 7 games in the 2s in the east/west divsion.
I believe that Oakleigh will be too strong for Yarra at home. Watch for a kid named Mason from Oakleigh he is only 14 and got 62 against us last week.
Willi should get over Bayswater at home.
Melton over Box Hill at home.
Altona to keep there winning streak going over Croydon at Croydon on a good deck.
Noble Park just over Broady in a battle of the bottom 4 sides.
End Hills to keep Sunshine near the bottom.
And finally Werribee to beat Mt Wav at churnside park.

Over to you Piston for the 1s this week.

Re: subbies season 07/08

Top summary MM,I can't remember so many great performances in one round for ages.Haven't seen much of Preston recently, can anyone tell us much about Lowe, must be a fair player?[btw love the Geraint Jones tag]
Right,YWL I'll have a go at Round 7 1sts this week.
Yarra v Oakleigh-I presume this is now at Oakleigh?which makes it hard for Yarra, the Oaks obviously have a good attack with the Pom firing and Yarra have a strong batting side on their day,but will go the Oaks to bounce back.
Bayswater v Willy-can't go past the ladder leaders, will probably fancy getting a big score on a terrific wicket.
Box Hill v Melton-match of the round, the home side very consistent, the visitors bit up and down, rely on Gale to get big scores, will go the Hillmen in a ripper.
Altona v Croydon-must win game for the A's after being smashed last week out at Noble, will miss Boglis if he doesn't come up but Wolfe,Christoforo,Gordie etc due for some big innings so will stick with the home side.
Broady v Noble-perhaps Broady are the real deal, won't tip against them on their dodgy deck with S Goodwin dominating.
Endeavour Hills v Sunshine-the Hills will just make too many for the Crows who are yet to open their account.
Mt Wav vWerribee-the visitors win games against the more fancied sides and this could again be the case, although Bartlett missed out with a duck on the weekend, could mean trouble for the Bees if he gets going, flip a coin.
Good luck to all, over to you Bucket Head for the North South wrap.

look id have to say some bad batting with a couple of l.b's not offering a shot.......you cant do that with subbies umpires........all other wickets were caught behind the wicket........so top bowling aswell.........wicket was fine a couple went low but that was to the meds......typical willy wicket.......@|

I would have thought that the players of the 2-day round were the two batsmen at Noble Park that made a club record partnership.

Murdoch's 57no was important but ordinary. Cam Smith an unlikely third behind my nomination.

Lads, please shut up with the personal abuse. It's a cricket forum boys, not manbags at dawn.

And Weapons, you're a 30yr old acting like a 10yr old. Enough please.

How did VSDCA go against VCCL?

yer and i love it.....fancy all these tools getting stuck into me id be fine with it if they were all playing ones but two's and three's players cmon.......i cant cop it......wonder why im getting all these private messages from melton bloke's giving their teamates up.......just goes to show what type of people are down at their club....ones who are rated and ones who arnt....all these box hills have had their fun im just starting....look i love talking cricket on here but it has gotten a bit overboard as you have said.....if you dont like it dont read it.......@|
