Aussies were good to pull that momentum back but in the end failed to stop one of the best finishers in the world. Sammy take a bow Maaan!!

Because he's the leading seamer? You'd expect him to bowl at the death. The whole team has looked somehow undergunned. Their fielding has been atrocious in these 2 games - Haddin one of the prime culprits - and that's a sign that confidence isn't high.

His previous three overs were rubbish. Half volleys, half trackers, he was all over the shop. Considering Watson had been fairly tight I would have thought he'd have been a chance to get one of the last two overs.

The bowling has been pretty poor in general, particularly at the death. Gave up 190 odd against Pakistan and then conceded 179 to West Indies, including 31 off the last 10 balls. Not really good enough.

New Zealand back in front now. They did need 56 off the last six overs but Brendon McCullum has exploded in the last two overs to bring the requirement down to 29 off 24. NZ are 3/123, McCullum on 55.
 
McCullum goes but not before doing some more damage. Slower ball from van der Gugten and this is sliced out to the sweeper on the off side who dives and takes a nice catch.

4/134, Kiwis need 18 off 19 balls.
 
All over. Neesham finishes things off with a tuck to deep mid-wicket and NZ have got home by six wickets with an over to spare. Things got a little hairy for them at one point but some great hitting from McCullum got them to the brink before Anderson and Neesham finished things off.

This was also New Zealand's highest ever successful chase in T20 cricket, their previous best was 8/139 against Sri Lanka almost four years ago. Brendon McCullum also became the first player to score 2000 T20I runs.

Next up is South Africa vs England.
