You'll dismiss him immediately on day 2 I reckon.

So do I :D

I cannot believe you left WCW and joined the Bengal Tigers??

What were you thinking?...

Re: Tests Round 12: Kingston Kings v Madrid Magic @ Sabina Park

Time to spread the wings D.

Spreading my experience around the comp cant be a bad thing can it?

You think it was a bad move?

Keeping in mind that Big Man is dead, his Pure AR role was swapped to Pure Bat and Biggie is born.

Jod, Quinz, Emerald, Lyall, Wally, Keyser and even Mr Eagle (Batting AR) were in front of me.

I think it was a good move, even if we struggle for awhile at the bottom end of the ladder (most likely scenario) it will be good to lead a team (in posting experience not captaincy) to bigger and better things. @|

Re: Tests Round 12: Kingston Kings v Madrid Magic @ Sabina Park

You should be the Captain.

I think it was a bad move (without the captaincy).

WCW are a great team, they have great posters, they are lead by a superstar. You were not going to miss out (due to your posting abilities). LJP would have selected you in his best XI without doubt.

You'll be struggling at the bottom of the table with the Inferno Devils (as usual), I'm still pressing for a name change.

So someone should move just for the captaincy?

I disagree, I am there to lend a hand with with everything I can and am very excited to be part of this new club.

Agreed, a great club.

Incorrect.

I was picked only for tests last season as E was preffered in the ODI's. Regardless of my posting.

Everyone and I mean everyone posts in the WCW side. Best XI was not guaranteed and he even told me that. Please dont assume Dirk when you dont have all the facts @|

I expect it tbh and hopefully we will improve and build a club from the bottom up.

Cant wait @|

Anything above 250 on a bowlers wicket is a bonus. So far, so good.

Tad pessimistic isn't it?

Everyone starts from zero, and I never thought BP's made a whole world of difference.

You'll be alright - hopefully not too alright though, won't see me crying if you hold up the ladders. ;)

I'm only speaking from the outside looking in, but I wouldn't have thought you'd leave WCW if you weren't going to Captain the new side (which is basically a BC side).

I'd assumed you'd spoken with LJP about it, and if he couldn't guarantee you a spot in the XI (Lyall posts, but not often) and I know the rest post, then I guess moving was a good career move, to a club where you are guaranteed a game each and every week in both competitions.

I'll look forward to the Devils vs. Tigers now.

It depends how experienced the Captain is, if he can utilize the bonus points they can make a whole world of difference, if the Captain isn't experienced and doesn't play around with different formations on the sim (in his own time), moving players around with bonus points, choosing different line-ups with different team balance (it'll be different on another sim) but 8/10 times the result will be the same if the tactics are right.

Nah, new clubs generally struggle for some reason, but perhaps the sim will lovew us and we will take it all!!! :D

Cheers D, the matches will be fun, although the matches v the Warriors will be interesting to say the least. :D

Re: Tests Round 12: Kingston Kings v Madrid Magic @ Sabina Park

Hopefully we can get up, Biggie will probably have the same input as a captain, and with me captaining one dayers, I'm more than open to suggestions and tips from him:)

Man I wouldnt have time to play around with a sim D.

Carn Tigerz will do a good job and I'll be there to give him my opinion. As will Breeno, who is still fairly green.

Exactly right.

We should probably stop talking about it on this thread now. :D

Re: Tests Round 12: Kingston Kings v Madrid Magic @ Sabina Park

Yeah I've been playing around with the sim at home, trying to work out a few tactics. Only downloaded it two days ago and when we get a full squad I'll be able to work some things out.

Re: Tests Round 12: Kingston Kings v Madrid Magic @ Sabina Park

Agreed, back on topic. Hopefully we can roll the Kings early and get the chase started.
