Kuhnemann out bowled Lyon again in my view.
We need some new blood, although Gary has had a stellar cricket career and is probably Australia's second best ever spin bowler just behind Warnie, he's coming closer to end of his career now and I can see him retiring within the next couple of years.

Says he wants to go onto Ashes '27. Yes a stella career but imo mainly due to his longevity, as he played the first of 135 Tests way back in 2011. Warne is in another galaxy compared to him.

Zman you remember Ashley Mallet and Bruce Yardley, well betting had either of them played same # of Tests as Nathan Lyon in same era that they'd too be looking at 550 Test wickets. All three had similar ability imo, but Rowdy and Roo were given only a fraction of matches as given to Lyon.

Not so much Mallet but I do remember Bruce Yardley very well, I actually saw him with another West Aussie cricketer called Ric Charlesworth at a night club one evening called Tok-H back in my younger days.

Nice touch of nostalgia. I recall Ric Charlesworth, decent cricketer, very good hockey player and later successful hockey coach. Took our Kookaburras to several Olympic medals.

Havent started with Starc again. Only bowled four overs, injured?. Theyre milking this spin pair like yesterday. Need em out pronto.

This will be the most embarrassing loss ever if the Aussie's can't these 75 runs
Ye of little faith. There are 17 previous scores under 75 in Aussie cricket history, but only two in the modern era.

I have the faith but in all the cricket that I've watched over watched over many years I've seen lot's strange things happen like big collapses before but it's usually with players having brain fades or the wicket is an absolute disgrace not up scratch just like most of them in India.

I am yet to see the official Presentation. A bit pi**ed off to be honest after being messed round by 7. Plenty complaining but falling on deaf ears as no replay on either 7 or CA. Still not bitching too much as if it wasnt for 7 we'd have not seen the series live and FREE.
In fairness 7 had little say about it as they used the host feed from the Sri Lankan broadcasters.
