I think at best our batting is very good with the likes of Jordon Birch and Doyley .... Expecting Birchey to finish the season on a high after a dissapointing season by his standards , at best would be the best batsmen in the comp no doubt.

yer your batting is good but cant rely on 2 players...... birchy to me didnt look interested last week and hasnt made that many except for his ton......

and best batsmen he will have to make up all the runs he let go through him last week due to not concentrating in the field and would be behind about ten at the moment for the best batsmen in the comp........

did u play or were u in the b's?????

any way look if your playing look for a very disciplined willy side that will be looking to bowl centrals out for about 150 hold all catches and a couple of runouts as well as we want top spot against wezza next week and thats what we are playing for

doyle far from impressive 94 runs for the year
allister 97 runs
and birchy has 187 with a ton to his name

I think all we need is a Bryan Lawry like player who reminds me very much of Andy Symonds... Can come out and make big scores and bowl aswell.

Doyley has been very dissapointing with those 94 runs , last year even though he played B's he got Centrals into the Grand Final almost single handedly off great batting performances.

Also dissapointing for Birchy .. 187 would look good next to anyone else but not for Birch, he is good enough to be a 400 or more runs a season player.

yer he might have got them to the granny but centrals wernt good enough under some willy guts and determination

bryan is a great player i dont like his attitude as captian though dont think he really cares about jnrs and hes got a long way to go to get to symonds level

yes a big win .........battered very well and won it easily........... no excuses coming into the finals and this is not what the doctor orded ..........anyway wezza lost aswell top spot still up for grabs and we want it.................

Sorry weapons i dont think u will get it. Werribee have just been experimenting with there side in the last couple of games eg; dropping and bringing up players from the B's just to see how they would fare in the A's. Werribee's bowling line-up is easily the strongest in the comp and the batting is good aswell.

Werribee for me...

yer they are a good team but still they should have won even if they are experimenting they have lost the last 2 and thats not good form will have to play at our best to beat them

Your right there ...

Another team that is in sizzling form is Altona North , such a big name side with the likes of Jordon Robbins , Nathan Jones with the Auciellos and Frydas's and the brilliant hacking skills of Jacob Bottrell. Altona North will make the grand final.

Weapons im suprised by the bowling talents of a few of the Laverton players ... 3 players in particular Daniel Harrison , Zane Agius and Scott Mills , have u seen much of them?

scotty mills goes alright havnt seen harrison due to when we played them he didnt front the first week when we batterd and zane my little friend from big footy ie(unit 27) i dont rate him they would all do well in the b grade but with such batting talent in the a's they go wanting at stages and bowl some absolute trash..............

what do you think about or chances of taking top spot off wezza this week
5/216 off 42 overs would have loved another 7 or 8 overs but anyway we got em and they gotta get em

gillard t dean the best bats by a mile in the a's

U should have them i think , Werribee usually bowl out sides for very chaseable scores and its good that u boys only lost 5 wickets in the end. But ur bowling effort will have to be better than the one yas put in against us last weekend.

true true with our best bowler injured we will have to bowl 90% better good thing is that we probably wont be overly agressive with the field placeings and we will see what they have got...........

willy finish on top great victory against wezza rapt in beating the arch rival the bowling wasnt a standout much better performance though than last week..........catching and fielding super
wezza traveling top shelf at the 1/2 way mark were 1-101 23 overs
the boys stuck at it and got big wickets in dean ,chadwick, freeman and vince
and then it was on for young and old they needed 70 off 7 and couldnt handle the pressure...........1 thing i will mention rick saunders battered for himself and not the team could have won it for em but selfishness played a big part in their loss

the finals senario goes

willy v hoppers.............thoughts????at willy

wezza v altona nth........thoughts?????at wezza


back to back is on the cards if we play to our full potential.........
