no doubt about it.....i asked for all the u/21 players names do u think i got them.......no.......the people that head the comp arnt doing any favours for themselves just making them look bad...................

yes we played the morland mooney valley,mercantile and the churches in the last game at kardinia park

dunno we beat the mecantile and the churches pretty easily and got thumped by mooney valley...........

Hi,

Just curious what the qualification is for the u21 thing, obviously you need to be under 21, but do you have to play Seniors in the WDCA, or can you just play seniors, or do you need to play in the WDCA at all.

Also, what is the standard like?

I heard that in the season just gone the WDCA had a player that was over 21, a pom apparently, is this true?

I believe you can play seniors only or juniors only on both to qualify for the under 21. As too the standard, "Weapons" might be able to answer that one....

yes the under 21's you have to play for the wdca as a whole i played 4 u/17'as from willy c.c and they play senoirs in the subbies so if u r good enough and u play jnrs get involved the best side will play no matter the age obviously under 21...................

standard its a 45 over match played on some of the best tracks in victoria and if your an up and coming youngster and looking to go further you would experiance some good times if your a batsman.........the good teams are good these teams play in the 1st tier and the teams in the 2nd tear get to play off to go up to the first tier the following year which was the goal this year but as u say we lost a game due to not checking up on the kids ages....we asked for u/21 and thought we had u/21 players but unfortunately 1 of the boys turned 21 after the first game and we kept playing him due to lack of numbers.............

what comp do u play in vtca?????if u do the vtca have a team in the u/21's get down there......................

yeah, i play for Altona Nth

Ummm... i was going to play in the VTCA team this season, but there training times were on at times where i either had work or other ******** on.

Just curious about the standard as a few mates got asked to play, but they said no as it was a ******** comp/standard.

they might think so but when u play on district grounds its a whole new ball game wickets ,bounce,out fields............quality to what u would be used to

Its a great experience to play rep cricket, l definally recommend to others to jump at the opportunity, get to play on some of a best grounds going around and against some very good cricketers.

Word is that Scott Mills is strongly considering a move to Willy apparently he has been offered a contract of some sort? Bad news for the boys at Laverton because Scotty in 07/08 wouldve been there best player by a mile in the 17's

na no contract...... just wants to be at 1 of the best clubs in the jnrs i would say would fit in nicely down at willy.........and would be playing in a winning side no doubt............:rolleyes:

and the way our club runs he would be in the 2nds or thirds depending on performances need bowlers got plenty of batsmen..... just like cam going to altona nth |@ i think not hahaha

coach of the year i think not already won 1 last year hahaha@|
