looker-on
aka Thomas the Kraut
Same here sort of. It's all about what to do with my 91 yo MIL. She'd been with us last year. We'd put her up in a nearby guesthouse for a week which was within walking distance. Now she told us it was too boring just being a guest with nothing being allowed to do. So all of us, five people and a dog, will be seeing her at her home for one day probably for the last time there because we hope she'll be in her new home at our place next Christmas.Has anyone made plans for Christmas yet?
I'll head to my family in Cornwall providing we don't have snow or ice on our roads.
I've already seen Christmas cards in a shop here, and winter Woolies, gloves, hats and scarfs
I haven't seen gingerbread and stuff in the shops yet but expect it to be on offer in two or three weeks' time. You might know better when that will be, Jessica?
