THE NEW CHRISTMAS THREAD.

Just a variation of what I posted elsewhere. Two are better than one. ๐Ÿ˜‰

When you read this I'll be sound asleep while you are almost about to hand out your presents. Don't ask me why but the Ossies keep jumping the gun.๐Ÿ˜
A merry Christmas, my dear friends from down under. โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿค—๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿฅ‚๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ‰

Only Chrissie Eve today in jump the gun land. So one more day before presents hand out time Thomas.
๐Ÿง Oops, that escaped me though I'd heard of the tradition. Here in Europe, in GER at any rate presents are handed out on Chrissie Eve.
Just received messages that both families of my daughters have caught a cold (I hope, and not Corona). The visit of my younger daughter today is going to be shortened and I haven't heard anything from my older daughter. Pretty mess, I must say. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Sorry I'm late.

For Craig I got a Diamond travel pass with all expenses paid to travel first class by any means to anywhere on the planet with up to five accompanying guests unlimited for one year being all of 2025. Also a private non returnable expense allowance of $5,000 a day for yourself and $1,000 a day for each of your guests. Funds going to nominated accounts as requested. Gold passes for any major global event, especially all the top Cricket Tests, matches, series, ... will be paid for by the Diamond Sport Travel Pass and not deducted from personal nor guest daily spending allowances.
All five star hotels, restaurants, limosines, ... and other travel expenses can be put on the card ...

For Thomas I got a ghost temporal transporter powered by cold fusion and an advanced Quantum AI computer. Put on the headset and you can travel as an intangible observer to any place and time in Earth's past. You will be invisible and untouchable to those people and all to where you travel, but you can see, hear, smell, ... , but not touch nor interfere with the passage of time of the world then, them, where, whenever, wherever. Its system will expire in one year, but you can walk through walls and fly at the speed of sound.

For Kram I got a transformer vehicle typically in the guise of a twin cab utility with a big tray back. All legally legit but this truck can morph like a Transformer able to fly, travel over or under sea. It's power unit is again cold Fusion. It can also travel in outer space within our Solar system at speeds up to 3,000km/s
In one year its Quantum internal cold fusion power unit will evaporate into the 7th dimension leaving the vehicle old and rusted badly needing major repairs.

Terry is running late. Jessica may pop in after all. Fingers crossed. Also for Cory, Zman and Kram.
Thomas was here briefly, but Terry and Jessica not turning up has killed my Chrissie spirit.
Sorry about the deleted posts Thomas. Disappointed. Cant wait any longer as I have to sleep now.

Good Morning and merry Christmas,
Christmas Eve is over and we had a lovely evening with my daughter and her partner who turned out to be something of a Gourmet cook. He spent three hours cooking a three-course dinner and leaving a bit of a mess in the kitchen.โ˜บ๏ธ I'm glad they did come although my daughter was feeling a bit under the weather. Today they're off to his parents' place, quite a journey but the weather is fine for this time of year. No snow!
Later today my other daughter and family are coming and I hope they'll have recovered from a cold. This means I'm busy again today and you'll just have to be patient since my presents won't be handed out before Boxing day. Thanks for yours which I'll comment on as soon as I get round to it. Enjoy the rest of Christmas Day. Cheers,:thumbsu:

Well I am trying to make the best of Christmas myself with my family, I told you about my mum having mental health issues so I'm not really in the Christmas spirit.

Merry Christmas and specially Day then too Thomas. Sounds like you had an enjoyable Eve as that was going to be my first question as how your daughters new partner coped in your kitchen. I had a quiet Chrissie as we no longer go to my brothers place. So wife, son and I made do with an enjoyable early dinner at home after I washed and scrubbed a long neglected outside setting. We splashed out with a full pre cooked turkey, leg of ham and a special rare treat, yummy Aussie rock lobster, washed own of course with my fave Jack Daniels Tennersee Honey.๐Ÿฅณ

Merry Christmas! It's Boxing Day.
As money doesn't play a role, my Chrissie present to all of you is a world trip consisting of flights to meet up in Aussie land for a specific occasion.

I'll book Jessica on a flight from an airport of her choice, i.e. either Leeds, Birmingham, Liverpool, or Manchester and a courtesy car as a shuttle to the chosen airport to take her to London. She can then take a Qantas non-stop business class flight to Perth and will join Terry to fly to Christchurch where they'll meet Craig and me. I'll have met Craig in Sydney from where we've flown to Christchurch.

Why meet in NZ? Why Christchurch? Because the four of us will then board MS Europa for a cruise around NZ for an all-embracing experience: the South and North Island of New Zealand combined with New Caledonia lasting three weeks. I think it's a fair deal: each of us would have to travel, NZ is hopefully something new to Craig and Terry, and MS Europa will make me feel at home a bit as it is essentially a German ship with which my daughter will be travelling from Mauritius to Cape Town in February, too.
All expenses will be covered by me as I consider this an appropriate present for myself on my 70th birthday. ๐Ÿ˜‰ What do you say, guys and girl? Deal?

That'd be so bloody terrific Thomas. And to celebrate your 70th too. The ideal place for our first face to face meeting would have to be a cruise round the spectacular Whitsunday Islands in far north Qld then stay at a five star resort on a luxury private island.

Its Boxing Day morning in Sydney, so still Day in Germany, just. A hot one too with a predicted 34/35 today, a scorching 38/40 tomorrow.
I meant it was Boxing Day for you when I was writing that. Right now 6:30 am here and 5:30pm in Sydney and 1:30pm in Perth it's Boxing Day for all of us.
:)
These temps are quite high for Sydney I've learnt.
