lol grapedo do you also think f.steyn is an amazing fly half in rugby? :)

Can't say I do.

Don't watch to much rugby TBH.

But Dale Steyn is an amazing bowler.

On that basis we should dis-credit Steyn's 74 Test wickets in 08 becuase "he got the majority of his wickets against Bangladesh".
grapedo;305548 said:
22 out of 74 is not a majority.

Johnson has only bowled well against New Zealand and that is it.

In that case: Johnson bowled well against more than one opposition in 2008.

Nice comeback airhead

Feel free to respond to the rest of my previous post or are you still trying to work out your month of January and when the Safa's played New Zealand?

And did you bother to read Johnson's averages against each side ? his only decent average was against New Zealand.

And that is terrific they played two test matches against the West Indies well done good work.

His only series average above 35 was against India.

Don't know why you have it in for Johnson, so far not one person has backed you up. One of the greatest fast bowlers ever has said he will be a "once in a generation bowler", but then again i suppose you know your test cricket because once these batsmen "work him out" or he bowls on a crackless pitch he'll be back playing State cricket.

Also, apparantly you didn't know that Sth Africa played 2 tests against West Indies in 2008 until someone told you haha

Disgraceful.

No point arguing with stupidity.

so you reckon despite the ball clearly hit a crack that Johnson moved that ball all the way in with a 70 over old ball.

Get real.

Its becase your points are unreasonable, not thought out, laced with hatred over MJ and blinded by foolishness.

Rissole wouldnt give two hoots if he was ignored by you, its tells us that you can stand to be told differently.

There is one only one poster trolling here atm. And its a Australian born SA supporter. Go figure.

Bah, why bother, Im on ignore as well. EDIT: Doesnt seem I am.

So you think aiming for a crack, trying to get the batsmen out who was well set was a fluke?

Get real.

Of course I disagree with your unjustified comments.
It's not trolling, it's just you with fail after fail and me telling you all about it.
But I suppose grapedo > Dennis Lillee so we should all listen up

Re: Top 5 test pace bowlers at the moment?

Boys cool it. I am sick of coming onto this thread and having to go through your pages of "MJ is bad, Steyn is better" or vice versa.

They are both World Class bowlers and there is no doubt they are in the top 5. Stop arguing pointlessly about the topic, you aren't going to agree, so don't keep it going.
