Trading Thread

Re: Trading Thread

I have no issues being on the same team (and in the same leadership group) as Boncer.

Don't bring me into it please Jaymin :)

I may then have to make an exception then......

Will_85 hasn't logged onto BC since June 14.

If he doesn't post on this thread before the deadline (99% likely) then the trade will be confirmed.

Well well well, we now have the first problem as to why it should just be the captains that decide.

Re: Trading Thread

The only thing the admin should do in regards to trade is confirm it once all parties have agreed.

If a trade is proposed and not everyone confirms before the trade period ends, the trade doesn't go through.

Doesn't matter if he hasn't posted for a week or a month or since 1842, he doesn't confirm it, the trade doesn't go through, simple.

No need for the admin to step in and make a more of a farce out of an already farcical situation.

Re: Trading Thread

DK it doesn't really matter.
It just stops the complications whereby the trade could be Hawk Patrol for nothing (all 3 parties have already agreed), and then Will_85 is delisted and free to be picked up by the Wizards. Effectively the same thing happens.

It's also been solved hasn't it Toon? :)

Unfairly, yes.

If you're going to make it that every party has to confirm, every party has to confirm.

Simple.

Re: Trading Thread

Surely a captain can delist without any confirmation needed. Otherwise a non poster could never be delisted.

Re: Trading Thread

I am willing to play on loan for any team, at a cost of $1000 per run or $50 per snide remark made while fielding, whichever is higher.

I also make hairnets.

Re: Trading Thread

More to the point, the Wizards captain should be sacked if that trade does go through.

Picking a player who hasn't posted since June 14?

Re: Trading Thread

WP didn't like the Wizards. He also, wasn't getting enough games so we picked up a player who will be a fill-in at least. Shapes our team up now.

Who said I didn't like the Wizards? I loved the Wizzies.

Re: Trading Thread

A captain can delist anyone he likes, without the players permission, they've always been the rules.

The rule for trading was a) all parties have to agree to the trade

This isn't happening for this trade. Simple, the trade wont go through unless Will confirms it. Otherwise, the situation is a farce

Ok. Wizards delist me, Nuggets delist will.

The Nuggets then pick me up, and the Wizards pick up will.

Simple.

Your captain has to do that.

Then if I'm on the ball I might pick you up :p
