and never lived in Canada for more than a very short time.

That's worrying.

First order of business for Canada is to ensure enough cricket is played and the sport is popular enough at the grassroots level to attract interest. Seems to me the team is full of foreign players who couldn't cut it elsewhere. That these players can just waltz into the team suggests things are pretty dismal in Canada when it comes to cricket and if this trend continues, losses will be inevitable.

Not that I have a problem with age perse, but if these experienced players can't help you win a match....
