Sachin Tendulkar's return will draw the most interest, but Dinesh Mongia is another key player returning after a long period away from the team. The series will offer Team India a good opportunity to rebound, after the horrendous 4-1 ODI loss to West Indies.

Due to the bombing in the Sri Lankan capital, South Africa has decided to withdraw from the tournament. This leaves India and Sri Lanka to battle it out in a shortened three match series.

The revised schedule:

i think that south africa pulling out wasnt a good choice...theres no need to get scared of a small blast...it happens all over the world...even indias not scared
