Yeah, was a nice close game, but we just weren't good enough, no shame in that loss, and thanks Em :D

Happy with my personal performance, a few more runs from the top order, and once again, we struggled to get wickets :(

We needed to give Emerald the full allotment of overs! Would have cleaned them up cheaply! Go the Em!

Let's look forward to the real season Crusaders!

Bluto and Bowling Shane bowled pretty well, Bluto was quite economical. The rest struggled though, especially myself, there were a few pies bowled by me in there.

Batting was a bit suspect again. Top order got starts but left it to the middle order to do the work. ONB and Dirk played well but the asking rate got too much in the end. Dirk batted very well for his 68 not out. The tail would want to make more runs than what they did in the future.

Not a bad pre-season in the end, one win against the reigning champs so it hasn't all gone to waste. Seem to have improved our one-day form. Looking forward to the season proper now, hopefully we can improve that bit extra in both forms of the game and hopefully win a permiership.
