Interesting article on the TAC Cup website this week which outlines that Jackson Coleman has chosen to concentrate on footy in the hope of getting drafted at season's end. Not good news for Melbourne, or cricket in general!!

There's a changing of the guard at Toorak Park, which has probably been on the cards for the last couple of seasons.
Neil Schittler has stepped down as captain and has been replaced by Sam Coates.

Hes as good as gone if he gets drafted...kicked 8 last week and as you said has put cricket on hold to focus on footy. His old man (Glenn) played 150+ AFL games so its in the blood. Not a big loss as he was really a speculative pick by the Vics to rookie him and he hasnt played a lot of Premier Cricket - would not have broken through Dandenongs fast bowlers last year in the final to take a spot from them. Just a shame genuine cricketers miss out on a rookie spot when guys who arent 100% about their cricket do get one, in the hope they'll choose cricket.

Interesting. I was told it was Clingleffer, although this was before Jansz had quit from Camberwell.
The 2011-12 clearance page is up on the web but yet to be updated, surely their is more gossip going around?
