Fair bit of infighting at YCC this year. Coach took the captaincy off lawford during the year for turning up late and poor condition for a game I was told and then it was made clear if coach didn’t walk at the end of the season he was going to be sacked.
They try to talk up they are trying to develop juniors but when finals came they kids got dropped or didn’t get used.
They are very lucky corona hit when it did as they deserved to have been crucified for what they did in the grand final. deserve a very harsh penalty to signal that cheating won’t be tolerated
 
Also would of loved to have seen Contessa finish his career back at Royal Park and help them when they have really struggled and dropped away rather than batting at number 9 and just collecting $$$ every week at YCC.
 
Anyone seen the Division restructure. Looks silly having all grades have 10 teams then DIV 1 has 12 teams and Div 3 having 8 teams. Why wouldn't they make it 10 teams each division.
 
Any words on recruits this year??

In senior div who is the team to beat?

Have St Albans and Haig Fawkner been able to keep all their overseas players or will they actually have to invest in a local player?

Kaushal to Sunshine United along with their old captain might make them a smoky?

Westy going with an over 50s team in senior Divisionwith their war chest they should be able to compete at the level.

Keilor in strife? Heard rumblings going on everywhere seem to have decided to not recruit players and recruit a team of assistant coaches instead.
Interesting to see how Ycc and Johnston go this year.
Strathmore saving their pennies for subbies?

Sunshine Druids doing much? Would need to some quality to come in to compete again and help Hay and Wilson and need help in the bowing to help Johnson.
Aberfeldie don’t know much about.
Doutta Ingram out and Borg in.

hey mate have you seen that they’ve changed the name slightly to cricket south east bayside. Be interesting to see if it’s a tactic to recruit more teams

Sunny United will be big improvers.

As for Keilor haven't they stuffed things up over past 2-3 years. Schupan walked out on them, they got rid Bandara and replaced him with a Pakistani dud, they bought over a West Indian who was crap, their poms have been average the last few years, Kaushal has now left them and they will probably put Stavris back as captain who is as useless as tits on bull.
