Yes , i'm not a fan of those 3 clubs i must admit, and when you get responses like that from "been there" ,it justifies it.No i wont call u a dog ,but im sure i mentioned what a great grand final it was in Senior division so if thats "hanging it" , well hang me. Fair enough then, as I said Im new to the thread. Agreed it would've been a great granny....wish I'd of seen a bit of it. Sounds like it will be talked about for a few years to come. Don't fancy spotty's chances of getting another senior div granny after the wicket - would that be the reason you're dirty on 'em?

I always thought Mckinnon had a pretty good set up for a granny - good wicket, reasonable outfield and half decent rooms but what do i know. Think Haileybury plays footy there and the ammo's start early usually so maybe thats it.

Don't think 'been there's' comments could be construed as any more racist than the 12th man's Pakistani names though. Do all Pakistanis drive cabs? No. Do all Pakistanis have names sound funny in English? No

Take it easy....just pointing out that if you're accusing people of racism, then using an alias that pokes fun at Islamic names doesn't give you much credibility on the issue.

Also probably not the greatest idea to use the 12th Man CD's as the moral standard to which you live.

Well heres something other than cabs to talk about. Maybe ANL can confirm this but whisper is that the coach from altona nth is moving to much greener pastures? Anybody else heard this?

Wicket was an absolute disgrace, enough said.
My argument would be if those millionaires from hansen reserve provide the best ground in the comp (ref vtca pres night), why wasn't the GF played there? Spotswood is a good viewing ground and that's about it.
Mckinnon pitch isn't up to finals standard.

In no particular order, GF grounds should be decided between OEG , Yarraville, Keilor or Altona. Given the teams that have contested the past 7, that counts 2 out though.

Why shouldnt we play the gf at the best facilities?? Regardless if it means a home final for a team!! Surely you want to play on the best wicket, ground and overall facilities?? I don't think there is such a thing as "home" ground advantage come finals??

I don't think Keilor or Doutta would be too happy if they had to play YC at Hansen in the granny

may hae been the friday night when turner was spotted heading the charge to parliament house fighting for the 2am curfews to be thrown out!

Well they both have good records against YCCC in grand finals dont they ? But yes i see your point , though this year should have been played at Hansen Res.
