it means big darryl has move to airport west because they would have offered him $100 more than what kielor would pay him for the year.
so instead of recieving his 15,000 from kielor he would have moved to airport west for 15,100 for the year.
i saw a craig sheedy worn cricket box on ebay. you can add it to your collection of the ones you have already stolen from his kit bag! :)

Gents,coming from Subbies i dont know a lot about your comp,could someone give me some background on this Brown guy everyone seems to be on about,is he an import?Looking at Clearances/permits etc it seems you have overseas players at nearly every club.Has this always been the case,in subbies not many clubs go in for this,only Caulfield and Noble Park usually have a pom,Preston had a little Sri Lankan Gamini Perera for a few seasons.
Theres been others but not on the same scale as you guys ,do you think it benefits the clubs and the comp in general.Interested to hear your thoughts/

I think that most teams having an import/gun makes for a better league.. I think most people have 2 (or more if you are YCCC or KCC?).

I'd be more interested to get your opinion of the league in a few weeks.. It would be interesting to see which league is better, i think ppl here say VTCA and vice versa of the subbies board..

Looks like Y.C.C. have done it again and signed up a bowler ex Canberra Comet Quick Emmett Bronca. (vtca website) Pretty potent bowling line up when Taylors en forced extended pre season finishes. I guess the people who didn't pick them to finish top 4 will change their minds now.

Interesting bout the Cosmos player, should be interesting..

Any danger of us actually playing some cricket this year... Looks like its 50/50 if we will play on the weekend, Keilor have already called their 2's game off cos they cant get it up..

Are other grounds ready to go??

Heard the Strathmore v's Hoppers game has been moved from Strathmore to Hopers on Sunday.

Any news from yesterday??

I saw that Hampton knocked up a win, congrats.. And a certain D. Brown made a duck in his debut for Airport West..

Keilor look pretty good, they picked up Fraser from druids and 2 new opening bats from North Melbourne.

Douttas V The Millionaires finished in the dark with street & car lights on. Umpires were umpiring to the scores & not the conditions.

Absolute Disgrace, but then again, what more can you expect |@ .

3 ball of the innings. Hit a very, very slow half tracker straight to square leg. Only bloke on the on side apart from mid on :D

He was pretty sharp. Even sharper in the dark!!!

They certainly don't look as strong as last year. Keilor in the same boat, so I think Douttas will improve as well.

I am sure he won't be listed as a payed player, along with Bakes, Taylor, Smart etc etc etc:eek:
